Toronto-born soprano and comedienne, Mary Lou Fallis, is one of Canada's national treasures, a woman truly born for the stage! Although best known today as the creator of countless unforgettable one-woman shows, she actually began her career as a legitimate opera and concert artist. This experience on the battle field, supplied the ammunition for the creation of her hilarious ACTRA AWARD-winning show, Primadonna.
Following the success of Primadonna, other shows arrived in quick succession, including Primadonna's First Farewell Tour – a farewell tour which has been going on since 1996. This programme, taped live in Glenn Gould Studio, features highlights from several of Ms. Fallis' shows. Joining her is her frequent collaborator and accompanist, former CBC personality, Peter Tiefenbach.
